The Flight of the Great Blue

This video is of some Great Blue Herons in flight. I filmed this footage at the Duck Creek Conservation Area which is located near Zalma, Missouri.

We saw a Bald Eagle and some geese on that same visit to Duck Creek, but I was unable to video them while they were in flight. We saw the eagle fly, but he landed in a tree and just sat there, moving no more than was required to keep the wind for blowing him out of the tree. The Great Blues were much more cooperative.
